GEISHA
The Geisha series, named after the Japanese "art person" or traditional hostess, reflects Alexander's interpretation of Japanese aesthetics: clean, precise and meticulously crafted. These tables embody the ordered beauty and attention to detail characteristic of Japanese design traditions. The Kintsugi table, the second in the series, draws specifically on the Japanese practice of repairing broken pottery with gold. Imperfection is not to be disguised but rather celebrated.
